The coalition said in a statement that it will continue opening Hudaydah port to humanitarian and relief supplies and allowing the entry of commercial ships, including fuel and food vessels, for a period of 30 days to implement the proposals of the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for Yemen.
Saudi Arabia has been leading Arab and Islamic countries in a war against Houthi rebels in Yemen since 2015 in form of airstrikes that target various areas in Yemen in support of the elected Yemeni government.
The announcement was made one day after the coalition intercepted a missile fired at Riyadh, in which Saudi Arabia and the international community accused Iran of trafficking missiles and weapons to Houthi militias.
